Philanthropy
"...so the world may hear"

National Partnership:
Starkey Hearing Foundation
Starkey Hearing Foundation uses hearing as a vehicle to reflect caring and change lives around the world. As a member of Clinton Global Initiative, Starkey Hearing Foundation currently gives more than 175,000 hearing aids annually to those in need. Delta Zeta has pledged to raise $5 million for Starkey Hearing Foundation over the next five years.

Local Philanthropy:
The Center for Hearing & Speech
Our chapter takes pride in our willingness to help others. We locally support the Center for Hearing and Speech, which is conveniently located in Houston. We are so fortunate to be able to spend every Friday with the children at The Center, and enjoy taking part in their yearly picnic.
Our Philanthropy Events
Gong Show
The annual Delta Zeta Gong Show is the largest philanthropy event at the University of Houston. Participants perform a 3-5 minute act, which consists of acting, singing, dancing, or step dancing. Each year, over 1,000 people attend this variety show showcasing the talents of over 18 campus organizations.
This past year, Delta Zeta celebrated it's 33rd annual Gong Show and raised over $5,500 for Speech and Hearing!
